James Middleton is the younger brother of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. While James lives his life out of the spotlight, he will often document big life events on Instagram. "I think buying a house is up there with one of the most stressful experiences in my life," James captioned an August 6 Instagram post. "It's been a hectic few months moving in to our new home we couldn't be happier. We are settling into our life in the country the dogs their new home," he added. From the age of 2, Kate and her family lived in the Jordanian capital of Amman while her father worked as a flight dispatcher for British Airways at the Queen Alia International Airport.
As James walks through the grounds of the house, fans should be able to spot an outhouse in the background. And dangling in the keyhole of the doors is a red tasseled keyring, showing off the quirkier side of the family’s style. James and his French fiance have been isolating at Carole and Michael Middleton’s Berkshire home after being forced to postpone this wedding that was due to take place this month.

James' house features four bedrooms, "low ceilings, dark rustic beams, and leaded windows," the outlet reported. James and his wife-to-be Alizee Thevenet started house hunting a couple of months ago, and it seems they found exactly what they'd been looking for. Kate stayed at the home with Prince William for several months following the birth of Prince George in 2013, and even shared their first official family portrait from the garden of the estate. As well as the seven bedrooms, The Manor has 5 reception rooms including an entrance hall, drawing room, dining room with 17th century fireplace, library, sitting room, swimming pool, tennis court, and extensive gardens. In March, Kate's brother shared a snapshot of his dogs perched infront of a stunning modern cream fireplace, tagging the post in his parent's village.

James has regularly been sharing snaps and videos from his stay in Berkshire, with his Instagram offering royal fans a sneak peek into the stunning manor house that Kate Middleton's parents have called home since 2012. Kate's brother James also gave a look at the garden when he filmed a video of himself shaving his beard in the space. As the camera panned to face his now-wife Alizee Thevenet, he inadvertently showed the patio with a grey outdoor dining table and various bushes. It is perhaps the most famous of Kate’s childhood homes thanks to Prince William’s arrival in a helicopter on the neighbour’s adjacent field, during his and Kate’s courtship. It was also the property the Middleton family lived at when the news broke of Kate and Will’s engagement on a cold October morning in 2010. It was where Mike and Carole gave a brief statement at the five-bar gate outside the home.
Writing in the Daily Mail last month, James said his family had planted a wildflower meadow close to the hives with cowslip, field scabious, knapweed, buttercups, oxeye daisy, wild hyacinth and lots of clover. In another snap, the couple's immaculate topiary was on show, with carefully clipped trees and bushes in the background. Above the cooker is a large kitchen clock, visible behind James in one shot from the video.

This new 18-acre home offers them better privacy and security, as well as space to build special accommodation for royal protection staff. Planning permission has already been granted for an outbuilding, with a flat and garage on the ground floor, and a storage area and workshop above.
Pippa, who once wrote a book filled with tips on entertaining, will be able to grow produce in the huge walled garden and greenhouses. And they will need the extra space, as I’m told she’s heavily pregnant with their third child. James pans the camera to reveal Alizee, Carole and Michael drinking wine in the most incredible garden with tonnes of gorgeous flowers in bloom. James then does a quick shave in front of the camera, until he's totally bare-faced. Next, he hops off the back of the truck and heads back towards the garden of the Middleton's home, Bucklebury Manor, where it's believed he and Alizee are staying with his parents, Carole and Michael, during lockdown.
